Dear Chela: My fear of conflict is blocking me from getting what I want.

Do you have a hard time saying no? Still trying to build up the nerve to ask your boss for that well-deserved raise? Do you notice you’re not getting what you need from you those closest to you? Many of us avoid tough conversations because we don’t want to experience conflict and feel the gritty feelings that come along with it.  In this Dear Chela, You’ll learn how to use conflict as a tool to get what you want and even embrace those sticky situations in which things go sideways!

What are your thoughts on dealing with conflict?  What has worked for you?  I’d love to hear about it in the comments below.

  1. First I love that you used the word behoove in this vlog…totally an underused word! 🙂 Very useful insights. Knowing our boundaries and being able to communicate a high quality “no” is so important. I think it’s true too that most conflict is in our mind, and is not external at all. Thanks for this video!
